Which means it's time to start thinking about an appropriately themed illustration. I've been thinking of puppets, statues with souls, and enchanted talking heads lately. Take a look at the working sketches and cast your vote for your favorites!
A - Witch kisses her lover after successfully completing her spell, turning him from doll to human (ala Pygmalion)
B - Nun walks the gallery at night, past a row of lifelike heads in various extreme expressions, from anguish to ecstasy
C - Woman wearing a widow's weeds kisses her lover's head while he stares back, lips sewn shut
D - Witch girl in frilly black dress sits surrounded by eerily lifelike mannequin parts as she mixes and matches to create the perfect boyfriend
