📣 Upcoming Changes to Subscription Model

Hi all! As mentioned earlier, there are some upcoming changes coming to my subscription model. I wanted to give you all the heads up so you'll know what to expect over the next 6 months.

To give a little background, I used to have more tiers (as some of you may remember) that let me do more color illustrations and comics. Then COVID hit. I ended up stripping things down to just one official $1 Sketch Tier just to keep the lights on while I figured out my next move amidst all the changes happening. Well, flash forward a few years, and I find myself back in a position where I can invest more time into producing adult content.

After doing some research and thinking, really thinking, about what and how I wanted to make art, I've arrived at the following:

The $1 Sketch Tier will increase to $3 in November. This will help make my weekly art more sustainable for me. Subscribers will also be able to vote in biannual illustration polls.
I will add new seasonal tiers in 2025 that will be exclusive to SubscribeStar. Realistically, I'm not able to sustain year-round monthly illustrations and comics, which leads me to my latest experiment...

Season of Smut ✮⋆˙

What, you ask, is the Season of Smut?

The Season of Smut would run from May-September (at least to start). Each season would have a predetermined theme/storyline, with the majority of illustrations and comics oriented to that theme. During the season months, there would also be monthly illustration polls with a higher focus on fan art than previously.

The way this would work is that Season subscribers will help me vote on how to interpret the chosen theme, and I'd work on the illustrations and comics during the off-season so that, when May rolls around, you can enjoy a higher volume of quality content. This also gives subscribers more control over what kink content they want to consume, since you'll know what the theme is ahead of time.

For Season of Smut 2025, polling will begin in December via SubscribeStar.

SubscribeStar's focus on NSFW digital art is very appealing, and I'm hoping it'll avoid some of the pitfalls we've seen with Tumblr, Gumroad, and even Patreon, where what's deemed acceptable content is inconsistent and liable to change overnight...especially when you're a kink artist. With that, I'll be shifting my focus to standing it up.

My plan is to launch my SubscribeStar in December. It will mostly run in parallel to Patreon, with the exception of the exclusive Season of Smut content.

I could write a lot more in this space about all the ideas I have in store, but for now, just know that I'll be reaching back out in late November/early December!
