I really enjoyed GDT's version as expected. His visual style perfectly matches the horror genre and he's a genuine aficionado himself. Oscar Isaac did not disappoint even if his version of Victor was a real azz.

It's another one of those rare cases in which the sequel is considered to be better than the original. πΈ You might also enjoy FRANKENSTEIN (1994) in which Robert De Niro plays the 'creature' and Helena Bonham Carter is 'Elizabeth'. Another interesting title to add would be THE BRIDE (1985) where you'll find musician Sting as the mad scientist and Clancy Brown {who you recently saw in AHSOKA} as his initial creation with Jennifer Beals {who you recently saw in THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT} as the title character.
