No I totally agree, the way I view Avatar and Korra is through a lens formed by growing up with Star Wars! And I feel the same way, sad that this amazing ride is coming to an end!

2024-11-30 00:27:58 +0000 UTCthis is kinda random but i think a lot about how connected Star Wars is with Avatar, as you are well aware, and your background in knowing so much from stories in general but also specifically star wars has informed some really interesting takes and commentary for both ATLA and LoK. It is extra cool to me because the biggest star wars fan I know is my older brother who grew up with it, similarly to how I grew up with the world of avatar, and there's a lot of crossover there. I mean both me and my brother also love both franchises to death but it's just interesting to see how stories we've seen and love and are a part of us will inform the way we perceive new stories if that makes any sense.
