Manny Jacinto is best known from his role on “The Good Place.” Funny guy. I agree he’s either the Sith Lord or someone connected. He knows too much and is acting sketchy. Dafne played that explanation of the plan very much like she played Lyra, lead character on “His Dark Materials.” Great show. Yord so far seems to be what Syril Karn isn’t. They’re both sticklers for rules, but Yord can see reason and will listen to another way. Syril can’t imagine why there would be.

Lightsabers are cool and all, but this feels far more fresh and new because the fights are much different. Plus it goes back to the Kurosawa feeling of the drawing of the sword as a momentous occasion.

I watched your reaction to episode 1, which was more a review than a reaction given you had seen it before and there was almost a constant dialogue between you and Bendu about the episode. I have gone ahead and watched the second episode while waiting for your reaction to drop because I found it hard at times to watch the 1st episode without the banter distracting me. Now that I've seen episode 2 twice I think I'll be able to focus on your discussion and less on the episode itself.
