She's come SUCH a long way from S1E1. Since finishing the season I've been looking online at opinions and wow, I guess I'm an outlier. So many people weren't satisfied with the story direction and while I do get it, I thought there was plenty of stuff to love here

I think sometimes people mistake her not growing in *some* ways (perhaps ways they'd prefer) for her not growing at all, just overlooking how much more mature she's becoming. Season 2 definitely is the most rocky in terms of character growth and interactions, but it's most definitely there. Unrelated, I love Korra's face at the end of this one... it's just "oh god this is really REALLY bad".
