Start interacting with the audience again, bring cringy fans on, make new eggheads. Bring on antagonists, make new ones. Have art contests and actually show and rate the submissions on the show (this goes back to fan interaction).

Aside from the previous comments (all of which I agree with), as long as there's no drama between you and the Kirks, I will continue to support both DP and DFF. Nothing irks me more than petty rivalries and tribalistic bullshit.

I'd say nows a good time to discard older more Paul and tj centric segements (ie brett keane segment, cutting the fat) and come up with some new segments based on what you guys like to do (I thouroughly you guys just playing random browser games for instance)

It has been an emotional roller coaster. I pledge around $20. I'm going to funnel it into this account in the hope it supports all members of the cast including recurring guests.

Just don't pay wall half your content like other podcast are doing and you should be fine, once DP picks up again the patrons should roll back in. I do think you guys should centralize your "paid content" more, splitting it among several sites felt like a money squeeze.

Frequency. The more you put out, the more I have to enjoy. It won't all be good. It isn't anyway. But like another commenter said, personal stuff, like lunch and the elevator thing, that's good shit to those who want to see it. If seeing more of the personal vids is something I have to pledge more to see, I will. Yeah the news and crazy stuff is good, we know this, we know that's why this works. That's why the show was successful. But we want to see you fly, baby birds. You're new out of the Kirk nest and it's time to show us your wings.

I think a combination of news and crazy people in a 50/50 amount would be great. And I also think that some more fan interaction would be cool, some Q and A with people sending video questions for example. I know that has been done before in the start of DP and ended after a while but I believe that it would be a good way to "restart" the podcast in a way. Would not be a long segment but would still be fun I think now with a new cast and all.

Does Billy play videogames at all? I liked Ragefeed for the little while it lasted. Maybe a perk related to some gaming sessions? I don't know how feasible that would be for you so just an idea like that.

DP needs a Brett Keane level antagonist, one of the Peasants must be able to impersonate him in a funny way.

I don't know if everyone feels the same, but what I liked the most about old school DP is that it was more about news, the political landscape and riffing on it in a satirical way. I like the stupid people segments and all that but I feel like it has taken too much space.

I agree but not every show. Making fun of Brett Keane is an integral part of the show but it can get old fast. Maybe once a week?

I would like to see DP on demand on a lower-tier. Spending $10 on patreon to get the commentary and private show with another $10 to get On Demand is not worth it. However, spending $25 to get commentary, private show, on demand, and the smoke sesh is worth it in my book.

Keep the Brett Keane segment. The entire new cast has familiarity with Brett Keane and most of them can come close to ranting out the manatee like TJ and Paul can- especially you Ben.

Hmm. I don't know if anyone else had this experience, but DP was basically how I got my news. I don't watch CNN, or Fox or any of that. I watched DP. So I'd love to see more news articles or videos with your commentary. You can just rag on each other and have your own little group and K Fabe or whatever, but covering the news or other big events, that's how you reach more people. And maybe throw out some more vlog style things. I loved the 24 hour show and the bits where you guys were just walking around and having lunch. Its fun. If you go to a restaurant or something with Billy, pull out the camera. You don't even need to force yourselves to be funny. You guys are like celebrities to us. It's cool to just be involved in the things you do. In a totally non creepy way. So yeah, I'd like to see a return the more 2015 style DP. More news coverage, more commentary on big events and issues, and a bit more of a delve into the personal side. I get that you do that more on Benpai, but when you are 50% of the show, DP is Benpai. You aren't going to make a living on Ad revenue, so don't focus too much on creating a captivating show, captivate us with you. That's how you get Patreon support. I can watch a really funny show on Hulu. But I can't see Ben there, making fun of CNN. You can rant about things that are going on in your lives, or crazy shit you find online. It's fun. And I think it'll work well as DFF seems to do exactly the opposite. I just want to know what's happening in the world man! I don't want to subscribe to CNN. Fuck that.

Hey Ben. Been a fan since the start, but just watched and let you guys do your thing. Given what I've seen, I think it might be time to go back to basics? DP always had a solid format concept. Lock in some of the mainstay segments, rotate others out as they flux in popularity or content availability, and let the fans come. Maybe trying to get a rotation of guests on will do some good toward attracting their audiences to yours, too. I support DP and Benpai equally on Patreon and I'll do what I can to share it around, for what it's worth.
