Hard to watch, except the opening few minutes and the closing battles. Visually beautiful but the story and acting from guest stars were...bad.

ahh I can't unsee it now, and it makes me sad all over again lol

Who are you to judge who is "allowed" to be in star wars? Lizzo has been a lifelong fan, as was her dad before he passed. It meant a lot to her to get this part.

Thurrak

I was thinking the same.

i enjoyed this much better the second time. every time i see christopher lloyd in this episode i keep thinking he looks like 99 πŸ–€

I felt this was one of the weaker episodes of the Series itself, even with BDH at the helm. My criticisms: 1) The love story at the beginning, eh, I thought it was kind of cheesy. 2) Jack Black was an unexpected guest, and, well, I thought it was fine, but, LIzzo? Not a fan. Don't know a whole helluva lot about her, and, frankly, I couldn't give two πŸ’©s to the wind about her, or what she brings to the table. I'm starting to think, are they just going to let *anyone* into a franchise I've loved since I was 4?(Gen-X here. Born in '72) Christopher Lloyd I had zero issues with. 3) The Good Cop/Bad Cop trope that Bo & Din used has been overused. Overall, though, was I entertained? Yes, I was.

I would argue the logic of the Dark Saber transfer is sketchy, but it is more akin to the Elder Wand magic than anything else. However, the important thing is that both the Mando Squad and the Tribe of Children of the Watch see it as acceptable, and Bo's leadership is validated

Liked Din's anti-droid hate returning in the face of his childhood trauma. Nice to see other cultures with domed city's. Now we just need one with a Negotiator that's lives in a bank that also pilot's a giant mecha. "Big-O! It's showtime!"

Tristan N Milner

This episode for me was hard to swallow! The darksaber transfer logic was lazy! Din kicking ass on droids was about the only thing that did fit ! Bring on next week ! Much love Kyle ✌🏼

For the dark saber transfer logic, I don't think it's just the fact the Bo killed the one that captured Din, it's that the cyborg forcibly took the dark saber from Din after besting him with the trap. While the cyborg didn't know or seem to care about it's significance, he was technically the owner of the blade when Bo killed him with it and it is therefore hers now. The rule is still followed.

Can we talk about what an absolute dick that Din was to the battle droids. I love that they didnt forget about his childhood trauma with them.

man what is this season :/ i’ve been trying to be positive about it but the entire season is just like bad guy of the week, or a big monster or a space fight but there’s been like 0 story

Good cop... bad cop

I love how Din was all sunshine and rainbows with the Ugnaughts then the next scene he goes full β€œI WILL DESTROY THESE POOR EXCUSES FOR CIVILIAN WORKERS!!”
