To me it’s the attention to detail Gilroy put in this series! Every bit of dialogue, or visual serves a purpose!! No filler !!

Starwarslegorob

Interesting, what is the significance of that?

Kyle Katarn

One of many details I love is the way Dedra removes her cap ! Her right hand reaches across her head to the left side of it !!!

I'm glad they didn't! In a way it reminded me of the Jyn and Cassian elevator scene

Kyle Katarn

I get the comparison (tired or not) and I think that's dead on. Seeing the quiet personal lives of awful imperials makes me feel... gross

Kyle Katarn

I know that Perrin is a bit of a centrist douche but that was ice cold! It took me a minute to realize that she was feeding that story to the driver. This show has done a great job of making me nervous for a character that I know survives lol

Kyle Katarn

That's a very interesting observation; Nemik implores the galaxy to "try" while Yoda sits in his swamp making root leaf stew 🤣

Kyle Katarn

So glad Bix survived! Also, it was fitting that Brasso used Marva's brick to smash that imperial guy's face - no one gets away with roughing up B2!!! It will be hard to wait until 2024 for season 2 - Gilroy has said it will be 12 more episodes, again in sets of 3, each arc corresponding to one year, taking us right up to Rogue One. Hyped!!! I agree with Kyle in that I don't want every Star Wars show to be Andor now, but I hope this show gets a ton of Emmy nominations, and that encourages the Star Wars brass to experiment with different kinds of stories in this big galaxy. All I want is for them to follow Nemik's final exhortation in his manifesto: "TRY" - I know that goes against a core tenet of the lore: "Do or do not. There is no try", but then again, Yoda is currently just chillin' in Dagobah, while all these courageous people are risking their lives and dying for the cause. 🤔

i had a feeling and was waiting to see how perrin knowing/having met davo sculdun a few times would play out. i assumed it would tie into the arranged marriage; making it seem like it was perrin’s idea somehow. mon putting perrin on the hook for the banking discrepancies was icing on the cake

What a first season. Most other star wars a lot of the time just show the Empire as nothing more then comical bad guys, which is fine, but Andor stands out for me because it's showing us what being in the Empire would actually be like. Nazi Germany is a tired comparison but it's what I see with the show. They would commit the most callous, vicious and disgusting acts against people but then go home to their family and seem "normal" and Dedra and to a lesser extent Syril epitomised that in season 1

Reece Hart

yes i want more non-force, more rebellion/empire perspective shows :D srsly thought syril and dedra were gonna kiss,
