Yes. He could have gotten a human raft and made it to shore, you can't count our man out until I see definitive proof.

That is, he accepts the sacrifice he is making so that others can carry on. I wouldn't be surprised if that is something that ends up shaping Andor's decisions in Rogue One.

2022-11-16 15:39:30 +0000 UTCAs much as I loved Kino's character arc, I think he has to die and that it will never really get confirmed. Simply because that is the heartlessness of the empire. Kino didn't want to be a hero, he just wanted to do his time and get out. But that wasn't an option, and he broke out only to be denied freedom by the diabolical designs of the empire's prisons. So while he freed himself of the prison, he was still a prisoner of the empire a whole.

2022-11-16 13:06:49 +0000 UTCI certainly hope that he's still alive. I thoroughly enjoyed his 3-episode story arc. I don't believe we'll see him again in Season 1 but I do believe that at some point in Season 2 he'll make an appearance. I think his character is too impactful to write him off in a drowning death or to leave him in limbo.

2022-11-16 13:05:08 +0000 UTCI really hope he is alive and that someone help him, after all he did tell them to 'help anyone they found that seemed confused and lost and to get them moving until they had left that place behind'

2022-11-16 12:01:02 +0000 UTCit's too late to see him again in the first season But I think we will see him in the second season. He's too strong willed a person to just give up and die, and he appears to be a very popular character in the series.
