I don't see how Vel's sales pitch can be any better than Luthen's - whatever it is, it won't be enough to sway Cassian. I think she is going to end up helping him escape prison - maybe sacrificing herself in the process, although I kind of doubt that will happen - I am going to stick to my theory that it will be a combination of Nemik's manifesto, and something bad happening to either Bix or Marva that end up pushing Cassian to join the cause.

2022-10-25 17:39:30 +0000 UTCI definitely think that Vel is going to recruit Cassian to the rebellion. She does seem a bit conflicted with the command from Cleya. I also find it odd that Cleya was the one to give that order. It seems non-sensical that Luthen would go to all the trouble of hiring Cassian just for that one job. It could be that Cleya is operating on her own. I also believe that the manifesto will be involved in the recruitment.
