Comic Updates, Project WIP's & Life Updates

Apologies for being so silent about the comic and other projects. I've been dealing with a lot since the beginning of the year and will be summarizing all of the progress on my projects below!

COMIC: PROGRESS + UPDATES
The comic series has been in the works since October. After the Kickstarter failed, we weren't able to begin full production on the project, but we did begin working on some pages, character references, scripting chapters, etc. In December/January, I got caught up with moving, beginning school, returning to work, a work injury and the artist has also been at an art-block alongside other IRL stuff. We both took a break and recently began working on the comic, mainly starting with finishing character references as well as concept sketching (backgrounds, weapons, outfits, etc). Since we don't have a lot of funds for the project, we're planning on rolling out the series in the summer of this year (ideally June/July) but I can't make promises. All of the scripting with the series has been looking great and I'm still passionate regardless. Progress is progress and I will be following up with more information ideally in early May.

DISCORD REVAMP / NEW CUSTOM BOT
I've also been busy planning on releasing a custom bot called "HANDY" on my community Discord! The bot is planned to feature a custom community economy, possibly random lore drops and replace current features that some bots in my server do like QOTD/Counting, Server Entrance Applications, Moderation, etc. There has also been a lot of work in the backend for a discord revamp - due to the 18+ only change - so we'll be tweaking permissions, adding/removing channels & roles, overhauling categories, etc.

STREAMING & VIDEO CONTENT
If you haven't already noticed, I've taken a step back from streaming on Twitch. I honestly haven't had much time to really do streaming nor do I have the self discipline of streaming on time so I've been taking a mini-hiatus from streaming. I think what will work for me best is streaming when I can/feel motivated to. When that occurs, I'll feel the most of myself to be live. As for video content, I've been trying to produce video content but I'm currently overloaded with other projects. Trust me, I really wish I could do it all but I don't have enough money to pay for a video editor so I have to rely on myself for that too.

NEW COMMISSIONS (Stickers, Thumbnails, Teasers, etc.)
I also do have quite a bit in the works in terms of new artwork content to share with you all! I haven't had much luck with getting too many commissions this year since my funds have been mostly for either: the comic project, personal expenses & bills, food or travelling. Though, I do have a 10-pack of stickers coming soon (one being the post's thumbnail with Lazer), a few comic teasers/posters, and much more!

COMMANDER TIER: Merchandise Form + Updates
If you weren't aware (I'd be surprised if you weren't), you get to have some Merchandise as part of being in the Commander Tier for 3+ Months. I'll be reaching out with a form in late-May or early June in regards for shipping details & information. I'll likely be sending out Merchandise in July or early-August due to being so overwhelmed with projects.

IRL Life Updates, Events, etc.
What consumes majority of my time is outside forces like my job, school, trips, etc. At the moment, I work a full-time job in a Warehouse while also doing some part-time University work remotely. I've also been dealing with a shoulder injury since November which has not improved whatsoever (feels like it's slowly getting worse), hence my constant absence from my content and projects. In lighter news, I'm attending FWA 2025 with a few friends so if you're attending that convention, you can also meet me there!

Personal Goals: New Equipment + Other Projects
In order for me to work harder on my projects, I eventually will need to work on improving my computer setup as well as begin other projects! I plan on upgrading my computer (CPU, GPU, Motherboard & Storage) in the late summer of this year. Ideally in the beginning of the summer (June), I'll be working on the VRChat World/Game as well as Soundtrack Music for the Invader's Battleship series which will be a massive stepping stone toward funding all ongoing/future projects and other necessities. I'll talk more on that project in the future.

TLDR; I have a lot of my hands right now and it's going to take a bit longer than I intended for certain projects. I apologize for the lack of content to share, but soon enough I'll be revealing lots of these and I can't wait. Thanks for supporting me and I hope you all understand!
