The jittery footage in the New Balance video is a result of them shooting 60fps/higher frame rates, and then exporting in 24fps. (they probably shot everything in 60 to give them the flexibility to use slow motion). 60 is not easily divisible by 24 so it cuts out an odd number of frames and makes the motion look awful. Its literally video editing 101 to export and edit in a timeline that is divisible by the frame rate you shoot in. That's why pretty much all skate videos are in 30fps because it is compatible with 60fps footage (and 30fps is just the standard for shooting action and sports). No idea why they would choose to export in 24fps in the first place. Absolute blunder that they either didn't know, care, or notice that.

Hey Joa, You seem really comfortable with kickers and launch ramps, and you’re able to get a lot of air on most of the tricks you send off them. A lot of people I skate with, myself included, have decent to pretty high pop on flatground but can’t seem to transfer or , even better, expand it when it comes to these ramps. There aren’t really any good tutorials on YouTube, and the few people I know who can use kickers and launch ramps to their advantage aren’t really able to explain how they do it—maybe it’s a well-kept skate secret? Anyway, would you have any tips? Or maybe that could be an idea for a video at the skatepark. I’m almost certain a lot of people would appreciate it. Thanks for your time!
