Man, I am an “umm” and “uhh” thief, as well. However, I think I invite the silence between thoughts more than the 1/2 sec. gap, you mentioned. I will say though, it depends on the context of the conversation. For example, if a question has been asked to someone, I will allow a larger gap of silence than a back and forth conversation moment. I know this is a very late comment (my 2nd time listening to this and STILL valuable) I cannot express how much I appreciate the passion and effort that you put into the show. 🫡
