I Can't Believe I Just Finished

First time posting here, long time lurking around.
Anyways, this is the start of the story I'm writing now, actually it’s the first one I've written in English as it's not my first language, sorry in advance for any grammatical errors…
If you'll like it I will post more and I'd love to hear some feedback."

This was how Alene Raven started, on the fifth of January 2012, I posted the first chapter on FP. Almost 8 years later (and 96,957 words later), I can hardly believe I just finished the last chapter. In a few hours (I want to proofread it one last time) the chapter will be added, and you’ll know how the story ends.

Those 8 years had ups and downs, there were times when I gave up on Alene, I decided her story will not be told. By some magical chance, I always wrote more. Alene’s story grew and grew (and so did Alene), I think I can title the damn thing a novel by now.
