Hello guys!
We've been up to the usual business this week and are continuing to make progress on V0.06! You can check out a new soundtrack demo above, as well as a screen of the latest enemy in action :D. Read on for details!

Police Animations Done!
I've uploaded the high resolution versions of the latest enemy's battle animations to Google Drive. At my request, APL has added a little feature that gives the capability for future enemies to be a little more interesting. Enemies can now have multiple variations of a pose and swap between them at random (you'll see there are two different idle animations for this guy). It's a simple change, but should give me more flexibility when making animations. On a related note, I'm happy to say I'll never have to (or have to make TK >_>) create animation frame files for Photoshop by hand, as I've adapted and improved a JavaScript ... script... I wrote awhile back to do it for me :D. Getting animations from Daz and into Photoshop and ready for post editing is now completely automated.
TK's New Mesh Tiling System for Maps
TK has a new tool for helping him to build maps more quickly, and he's made a little visual demonstration to talk about it some. It's basically a tiling system that uses 3D models instead of 2D images (like RPG Maker's tile map editor), and it obviously has a ton of potential for cutting down on busy work for what we are doing. Check out what he has to say about it here!
Battle Overhaul Update from AltairPL
Long story short... the battle overhaul continues!
I finished recoding things related to holds, tested them as much as I could and had no problems... I hope nothing slipped under my radar.
With holds out of the way, I started planning and implementing fixes to remaining major issues, which were left for later since they're mostly related to full concurrency. The good news is that only two issues are critical (hangs/crashes) -- other issues are just causing more or less minor graphical glitches. Most of those issues should be easy to fix, though.
Kinda hard to say what I will tackle next - my list of things to do is still long and I'm not sure how much time fixing bugs will take.
Goals for this Week
Eromancer here again! I have two new characters in my head to design, so this week I will likely be hunting for assets and putting together concepts for them. In addition to that, TK and I are finally going to jump into that map design binge I've been talking about.
Expect to hear about it soon!
