Hello everyone!
This post will lock in your pledges so that when Patreon processes payments at the beginning of November I can begin sending out download links for pledge rewards. Please note it can take as long as a week for Patreon to process all pledges, so try to be patient! Again I want to remind everyone to please check that their payment information is correct and up to date (even if you had it set correctly for the last release, please check to make sure Patreon didn't change something on their end). Remember, your payment must be successful for you to be eligible for pledge rewards!
Reward Distribution
As it stands I'll hopefully be able to start sending out reward links to those whose pledges have processed on Sunday night (US Eastern time). Be on the lookout for a message in your Patreon messages, as that's how I'll be contacting you.
If you are set up to receive an artwork PDF reward, the PDF will be included in the the same archive as your game files.
If you are set up to receive an artwork print, you must send me a message telling me which print design you would like (otherwise you won't receive a print until I hear from you!). There are unfortunately no new print designs available for this release, but please check this post for the available designs (it's from prior to the V0.02 release, but the information is still valid).
If you are pledging at one of the Inner Circle reward tiers, I'll be sending an email to your supplied Patreon email address with details once the release craziness is over. If you were in the Inner Circle for the V0.02 release, you'll be getting a new email with new links, so please keep an eye out.
Again, I want to ask that once you receive it you please don't share your test version of the game or any files related to the test version of the game, as you will forfeit your rewards and access to future rewards by doing so. The public will get to see a demo of the game when it is ready to be seen, but these releases are for you guys!
Game Changes and Improvements
In addition to the changes mentioned in this post, there have been some additional improvements for V0.03 that we still need to compile a list for. I'll try and edit those in here once I have time.
System Requirements
If you haven't played the previous releases of MATM, then PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
Malise and the Machine utilizes the RPG Maker VX Ace engine. To play, you must install the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP (run time package), which you can download and install for free from http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages (click the blue button at the bottom of the page to download).
It's highly recommended that the first time you start the game you make a critical adjustment to the RPG Maker VX Ace settings to vastly improve performance of the game. To do this, press F1 after launching the game, then in the window that appears uncheck 'Reduce Screen Flickering', and then select OK.
Additional tips for improving performance if you find the game runs slow for you:
