December Update
Added 2025-12-30 23:37:47 +0000 UTCHey all; just an update on where things are at right now. I thought December was going to be a month where I got back into my routine but obviously it didn't happen.
Unfortunately, my anxiety got increasingly worse, to the point that one night I was experiencing pain and a burning sensation in my chest and higher-than-usual blood pressure and was advised to go to the emergency room of the local hospital.
I was in the emergency room overnight, for about 14 hours total - and let me tell you, sitting in a hospital all night (with no sleep!) waiting to find out if I was in serious medical trouble did nothing for my anxiety. In the end, they said "we think you're fine" and discharged me.
Fast forward several weeks and I finally had a conversation with my regular doctor within the last few days, where I was told that the doctor at the hospital believes my symptoms were due to anxiety and adrenaline because of the situation. We've also made some adjustments to medication I take to try and (hopefully) help with the anxiety.
All of this is to say, it's been a rough month and I haven't been able to work on content the way I planned. I'm keeping my Patreon on pause, so you still won't be charged anything, and I do still plan to catch up and post content for everyone. It's just been a slower process than I anticipated.
I hope you're all doing well, and you've enjoyed the holidays if you celebrate and that you're all looking after yourselves. I'll try to be better about keeping you all updated if things aren't going to plan in January, but - fingers crossed - I do hope I can actually get some content out there.
Thanks, as always, for your understanding and your patience while I deal with all of this. I appreciate it so very much. Thank you!

It sounds like a severe panic attack, which can feel exactly like a heart attack, you were right to be concerned. I do hope you can find a happy balance with medications. I have panic attacks too, I suggest learning breathing exercises, and simple tricks to bring yourself calm. Like counting backwards; or focus on a single object in the room you're in; or breathe in hold 3 seconds, breathe out hold 3 seconds, reapeat

Take all the time you need your health and well-being come first. You matter, and you’re doing the right thing by taking care of yourself. Sending you support and wishing you calmer days ahead. 🫶🏽❤️
