SimpleBreasts is my Maxis-match breast shape for sims, so the primary set of shapes is based on the Maxis breast (with enhanced details and a nicer overall appearance). Although I may explore other shapes to add to SimpleBreasts in the future, this initial set will remain the default.
FEATURES & DETAILS:
1) SimpleBreasts is currently available for female sims only.
2) SimpleBreasts comes with four nipple types: Standard, Protruding, Puffy and Inverted.
3) The base shape is purposefully close to the default Maxis shape so they match the appearance of the breasts in bras and other official clothing items. This is illustrated in one of the comparison photos above.
4) The breasts have a minimal texture, which only includes hand-painted nipples. They're designed to work with the Maxis skins, but should work with a large variety of CC skins (although if you use a skin with nipples and they don't align with Maxis' or mine, it could look weird).
5) There is a color overlay which covers the nipple and areola, available in 10 swatches. They look good on a variety of skintones - the purple looks slightly odd on very light warm tones, but is very nice on cool and neutral tones.
6) There are breast texture overlays for a variety of uses: Using sheer clothing that shows your sim's nipples? Got a CC skin that doesn't quite match the appearance of the SimpleBreasts? Suntanning in the nude? If you need to add the appearance of the SimpleBreasts to your sim, the texture overlays let you do that.
7) There is an optional textureless add-on for suntanning. Technically, body parts are another type of clothing, and the game sees them as such for the purposes of suntanning. This results in odd tanlines if your sims sunbathe in the nude. The add-on removes the nipple textures so your sims can tan evenly. You can add nipple textures back on to your sim using the breast overlays.
Please be aware: If you use the default game skins, Sims who max the weight slider get a heavy shadow across the breasts - this is part of the official skins and nothing to do with SimpleBreasts.

Files included are separated by folder into required, recommended, and optional.

Lets your sim sunbathe with no odd tanlines while keeping the appearance of SimpleBreasts.

Stops SimpleBreasts from showing up as the default in CAS.

I hope you won't hate that I keep finding something wrong. :P So I tried this accessory too, I like it, but since I use Breast Augmentation 333 from EVOL, the shape falls apart especially at the bottom with large breasts. Can you watch this sometime? I would be grateful!

Well, you understood correctly, the "issue" is precisely the textures being misaligned, I assume that's because, like you said, those textures were made to fit WW default shape. I've tried some other body parts and they seem to follow that alignment, but yours are the best and I'll continue using them ;) So I believe I won't be using cleavages and other skin details than yours, it's not an issue actually, it's the body part those textures were made for. Maybe, hopefully in a not-so-long time ahead, you might want to retake and improve SB and release some new overlays, cleavages and so on lol :D, they're just fantastic.

First, no problem about commenting on an older post, Patreon notifies me when new comments are made regardless of the original post date. That is, if Patreon is behaving correctly lol Second, sorry to hear you're having an issue! It sounds like a conflict in texture locations; I mostly create Maxis Match, and put my nipple textures in the location where Maxis textures have the nipple. I assume the other creators you've mentioned are placing their nipples differently, maybe to work withthe default WW shape. In that situation, other textures would look misaligned. S4S wouldn't be able to automatically fix that because it's part of the mesh/UV layout. Unless I'm misunderstanding what's happening in your game? If so, let me know in case it changes my answer!

I've used and loved all your male mods for a long time, recently I discovered all the female mods you do, and I have to say SB are simply the best! they look fantastic, finely crafted and very natural. I have the same "issue" ThisGhost had with overlays, I'm aware your SB are designed to be used with you nipple overlays, but I have to say I also like wild_guy's and mikkoi's skin details, as well as some really good cleavages around there, and all of them have that "misplaced nipple" issue. I believe that s4s option does not apply to fixing that content like the layer depth, right?

2021-05-05 22:27:36 +0000 UTCDon't worry, it's not a waste - I was genuinely surprised to see they looked like that in your game, and if it had been coming from SB alone then I definitely would have wanted to fix it! So not a waste. Yeah, some will overlay or some will underlay depending on the "sort layer" number they use versus the one I use. Anything with a higher sort layer will go over mine, rather than under. I use quite a low sort number so most things overlay the body parts I make. If you have specific CC you're hoping will layer over or under something I make, I can give you information about changing that with Sims4Studio if you need it. And I've taken on your feedback about other piercings/overlays not necessarily working. I know people might prefer some of the content currently available, but I do hope to add some of my own in those areas to round out the SB experience and maybe fill some of that gap!

2021-05-01 10:22:02 +0000 UTCWell I feel like a dunce. It turns out that it *was* a skin detail after all - the areolae overlays that come with Sopor's Allure breasts, to be specific. I could swear I removed all skin details and still saw the problem, but there you have it. I did notice that some skin detail areolae overlay yours, while others underlay them. Nothing needs changing there, it's just something I noticed. Also, that nipple halo thing seems to be specific to ghosts. Normal sims don't show it. It must be related to the transparency. Again, nothing needs changing, it's just interesting to note. So sorry to waste your time with this!

In my case it's definitely a body texture rather than a skin detail (based on what I just removed to test), though I did see similar alignment issues when messing with alternate areolae in skin details and tattoos (AirplaneRandy's hentai nipples, for example). Obviously the issue is on my end rather than yours, so I apologize for taking up your time! I'll report back when I find the conflict though, just so you have the info.

The texture for the breasts is set to a low sort layer so it could be something non-default like a skin detail that's causing it, maybe?

I just did a quick check in-game, and it appears I do have another texture overriding yours. Without it the alignment is much better. Now I just have to figure out which one it is.

There is an areola texture around the nipple, so I wonder what you're seeing and whether it looks different to what I'm seeing somehow. 2021-04-29 13:45:40 +0000 UTCBy "default" I really mean the WW default texture, you're of course right that Maxis doesn't have nipples. That's a good point on piercings too, which is why Noir publishes a ton of variants in the first place. I thought you would have included an areola texture which is why this is so surprising, but the nipples are very obviously out of place on my sims, both in CAS and in live with SimpleBreast selected in WW. Perhaps I have another default conflicting somehow, but I try to avoid defaults for this very reason - they simply cause issues. I also don't use skin overlays because of alignment issues like this. (Nipples and navels, argh!) The ghost and halo isn't an issue itself - the misalignment just happens to be most visible on my ghost sim. That's the only reason I mentioned that. I'll send you a screenshot in a DM on LL to show you what I'm seeing. If you have another preferred channel just DM me the details here and I'll use that instead. And then this evening I'll try to root out any conflicting CC.

I'm a little confused about the "default" placement and texture - Maxis doesn't actually have proper 3D or 2D nipples, so there isn't a default nipple position or texture. In fact, SB have a texture built into the .package file, so you shouldn't be seeing any alignment issues unless you're using an overlay of some kind that's putting another texture over the breasts. As far as other piercings, I'm not sure if those would ever work for SB - if they were designed for the WW breasts, which stick out further than the Maxis breast shape, I assume the piercings would float in mid-air an inch in front of the SB nipples. I do intend to introduce pierced SimpleBreast options in the future. As far as the ghost issue, it's not due to texture alignment; it's an effect of the "3D-ness" of the nipples and how far they stick out. The glow happens around mesh edges and is visible in other places on the sim body. If you stick the Inverted nipples on a ghost, you can see the halo is gone because the nipples don't protrude in the slightest (the inversion creates a line due to the mesh edges I created, but that's not unexpected). I might create another shape with a "flat" nipple - it is an actual nipple type but I didn't include it because I wasn't sure people would want it. With a nipple that doesn't come out very far, the glow/halo effect could probably be lessened by quite a lot.

2021-04-29 09:32:32 +0000 UTCIt appears that the SimpleBreast nipple placement doesn't quite line up with the default/WW/Naturist/etc. placement. The SB nipples are higher and ever so slightly further apart than the default placement, with the upshot being they don't align with the default textures correctly and therefore make some really weird looking areolae. It also rules out use of existing nipple mods (tints, piercings, etc.) The effect is especially pronounced on ghost sims with the CAS defaults package installed. For some reason the nipples have a bit of a "glow" effect around the edges that really pops on ghosts, and that I assume would be washed out a bit if they lined up with the darker centers of the areola textures. I took a screenshot for you but I'm not sure if I can upload images in the comments. Is there any chance of you tweaking the nipple position slightly?

I based the location and point on reference pictures, and had planned a separate exclusive design that is more "upwards". Nipple piercings and exclusive designs are planned. Bigger areolas are also a yes, but I would like to keep them a simple and straightforward project that doesn't interfere with a focus on other breast designs. Also, no scar sections come with BG - just Vamps and Get Famous. I wish they did because they're a whole bunch of largely unused slots!

If I'm honest something seems off about the breast shape in profile, the way the nipples connect to the breast maybe? It might also be nice to have an innie skin detail so that transparent clothes can show the correct nipple type. With just 2 new areola sizes (bigger and massive) it would probably offer enough variety as far as areola size is concerned, IMO. With most of it moved to skin details you could focus (if you chose) on more unique breasts instead of just areola sizes. (Nipple piercings?)

Option 1 is making overlays in the skin detail section (not always ideal cuz skin details is a bit overstuffed imo); option 2 is making new variants in CAS/Live. New variants would be simpler. But it depends on how many larger sizes people might ask for. I don't want to overload the body selector the way RealGens did, and if I get requests for three new areola sizes suddenly 4 breasts becomes 16 breasts in CAS. Are you just looking for one larger size, or multiple?
