I'm not going to lie I found it kind of weird and cringe that you missed all of the small steps of character development that bakugo had in this entire Arc.. and then u were just like "he just didn't have character development I was disappointed" bro are you kidding 1. At the beginning of the festival even Deku commented on how he's not acting like how the old caught on wood 2. He's showing even more massive intellectual character development by analyzing The heroes That were fighting And processing the information to apply it. just like he recently seen that Deku has done All these years 3. I feel like a lot of people get real caught up on him being super screamy and yelling "I'll kill you"and "die" all the time and don't realize he's not being literal. He's just an angry baby with superpowers that is probably been raised with trauma anger problems and a boosted ego from everyone around him that has turned into a complex in a world where Society puts so much pressure on people with quirks in the first place in hero Society. 4. he took the time to understand all of the quirks that he had on his team in the Cavalry battle, where they would fit best, and provided the role of a confident good leader to end up almost winning the entire Cavalry battle. He has amazing leadership skills when he really puts his mind to it 5. Do you miss whenever he actually calls people by their name? it actually shows that he's grown to respect the person, just like he did when he fought ochaco at first he called her Pink Cheeks and by the end of the fight he called her by her name just like he does kiroshima because he respects him cuz that's his friend 6. He listened to todoroki and Dekus conversation and didn't go up and immediately scream to Deku about it immediately and confront him and tell him to explain what's going on right now or he'll kill him Like honestly I could really keep going a lot but it's 2:00 a.m. and I'm super tired but please pay more attention just because he screams and says I'll kill you doesn't mean that he means it and he gets a crap ton of character development if you actually pay attention which you do pay attention..so that's why I'm confused as to why you missed all of it LOL

I always switch between Deku and Midoryia in his case. There’s still a small chunk of the class who it’s just whatever name I remember for them, be it first or last. It’s a lot to remember. 😅

2023-08-18 01:18:53 +0000 UTCSince there was no translation on the japanese writings, it's good to know that when Iida was writings his hero name, he started with "Ing..." from "Ingenium", his brother's hero name, but then later he presented the hero name "Iida", with a weird hand writting that looked like he changed what was written.

The movie My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising is right after the 18th episode of season 4. Lastly the new one which is My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission is set after the end of season 5

2022-08-12 13:28:02 +0000 UTCSomething pretty cool that gets missed in translation is that "Deku" means something like "Try harder", which can both imply Bakugo's inferior view of him (as someone who needs to try harder) and Uraraka's positive view on him (someone willing to try harder than anyone else).

(Crunchyroll already had the sub since Funimation and Crunchyroll divided up the licensing so CR would get the sub and Funi the dub back before they merged.)

2022-08-12 02:57:53 +0000 UTCDub doesn't translate written words but the sub does! Wasn't really explained properly but deku wasn't actually touching the seat when he was "sitting" was essentially in the middle of a squat the entire class which is why he was shaking.

2022-08-12 02:51:39 +0000 UTCWe talked about it in the comments of the MHA OP VOD you uploaded, and because I am the nerd I am, I did the math, and you will need to watch a little over an episode a day to make it by the (probable)time the dub airs to be caught up, so at the pace you are going, you won't make it lol. That is okay of course, it just makes it even more likely you might see a spoiler somewhere online. EDIT this is my first time watching the dub on Crunchyroll so I didn't know how bad it was (at least in these earlier seasons don't know if it gets better) about not translating the text, like not telling who got offers is shit, and not telling you Koda's hero name either since he hasn't talked that much or yet. It is Petting Hero: Anima BTW. I also think this is the order of the offers Todoroki 4123, Bakugo 3556, Tokoyami(Bird Head) 360, Iida 301, Kaminari(Electric dude) 272, Yaoyorozu(Black Haired Creation girl) 108, Kirishima(Mr. Rockhard himself) 68, Uraraka 20, Sero(Tape elbow dude) 14
