  In designing the Terrain above, I opted for a minimalist approach. This decision allows you greater freedom when creating bases. Here’s why:

  • Too many features can restrict the options. If small elements are included like grass, skulls, bones etc.. just to list some of what is present on the Voodoo Swamp Bases, they must be either fully integrated or completely avoided. Partial elements can lead to an awkward final look and thus limiting the aereas from what you can cut bases from.

  • I think is better to use models like the ones from Voodoo Swamp Pt.1 or other pieces to decorate your bases as you wish. This way, you can achieve a more cohesive and visually appealing result.

  Helpful Tip: If you duplicate the terrain and position it next to one of the sides of the original terrain, this allows you to cut bases more effectively. By utilizing the part close to the edges, you can avoid ending up with half or nearly complete circles or squares for your custom bases.
