March'24 Intro Post: Ancient Egypt

About the March'24 release
This month, I'd like to make a minor change. Along with the terrain/basing bits STLs, I'd like to offer you a set of Square Bases instead of the Round ones to better complement the new Old World game.
so the Ancient Egypt set is going to include 25 square bases with 8 different sizes as follow:
- 25x25mm 6x
- 40x40mm 4x
- 50x50mm 3x
- 25x50mm 5x
- 50x75mm 2x
- 50x100mm 2x
- 60x100mm 2x
- 100x150mm 1x
Please, since I'm currently focusing on creating terrains and bits, let me know if square bases are a no-go for you all, and I'll happily switch to the standard round ones. 😊

- What do you expect from the current release?
- Do you prefer the current release to be more aligned with the design aesthetics of 'Tomb Kings' or the classic ancient Egyptian design?
- Any suggestion on deco/basing bits to add?

Hi Ozz! Yes both could be definitely an option if time permits it 😊 However, given that the majority of votes on both Patreon and Tribe seem to express a preference for round bases, I'm going to make round bases as for the previous release first

2024-03-02 11:47:14 +0000 UTCThank you for the input😊 I appreciate your feedback on the potential warping issue with large square bases. I'll certainly consider incorporating the suggested base sizes instead the biggest one in the new set to avoid potential warping or other printing issues

2024-03-02 10:50:13 +0000 UTCGreat to see the square bases. Only thing I would mention is that warping can be an issue with the large bases when printing in resin. My preference would be for themed sets of 25mm, 30mm, 25mmx50mm and 30mmx60 to cover the core of all armies then basing bits for use on larger standard mdf or plastic bases.
