2. Are you a fan of LOTR and specifically the Silmarillion/Tolkien's expanded lore? I ask because I see a lot of similarities in how Awdry's and Tolkien's worlds have an immense amount of thought and worldbuilding put into them, only a small percentage of which is revealed in their actual narrative works- to say nothing of them both being religious men whose work was continued by his son Christopher...
