The video will be called "Thomas & the Magic Railroad but Everything is Explained". What this will be is explaining every difference between script, workprint, and final version of the film, as well as all trivial anecdotes like production history, filming locations, voice actor changes, actor cameos, and more. Basically, a guide to EVERYTHING one could want to know about Thomas & the Magic Railroad, but in video form.
The clip here discusses all the dialogue differences for the meeting scene between the engines.

2023-01-25 17:52:24 +0000 UTCInteresting clip especially given the changes in dialogue. Also I do find it hilarious that the orignal script made James some sought of hypochondriac. On a personal note, I still think the reason they gave behind Edward's absence is nonsense, becasue with the way this ridiculous movie is shot, no Thomas centric character has any value in screentime. I mean what value do Bertie and Harold bring to the film, and heck even Henry? TBH I think when you rewatch S5, you can clearly who Allcroft had in mind for her "steam team", the Ffarquhar Trio and the three big egos, plus the fact Bertie and Harold were pushed into many secondary roles. I think it was a personal preference on Allcroft on who and who she didn't want in the film.
