Magic Railroad Review Sneak Peak! + Patreon Perks Update

Hi all!

As I said in the 2023 video, I’ve going to roll out some changes to my Patreon tiers. I've read your feedback in the comments, and am going to restructure accordingly. The only tier changing majorly is the Controller tier, and I want to run the changes by you all first before I proceed. The tier will now include:

Cleaner - $1/month

Fireman - $5/month

Controller - $10/month

I’m also toying with the idea of doing monthly Q&As here on Patreon, but will likely just be text-based. I would dedicate a whole day each month to answering everyone’s questions here. This would be open to both Fireman and Controller tiers.

To mark the start of this, attached is a sneak peak clip from the upcoming Thomas & the Magic Railroad review. Steady progress is being made on it!

Let me know what you think of these new perks!

Here's my own unpopular opinion: a Thomas the Tank Engine movie was always destined to fail. If Sesame Street, a far more universally beloved brand, bombs at the box office, a far more niche show like Thomas didn't stand a chance. They probably never should've tried to make a movie.

Yess hahaaha!! I’m so excited

Unpopular opinion: every voice for TATMR was absolute perfection, exactly how I imagined the engines would sound individually, especially Gordon and Toby!

My personal thoughts on each voice, neither of Thomas' voice work. Eddie Glen sounds too high pitched, John Bellis sounds too low pitched, James' voice, I mean I'm preference to Angelis over Roman anyway but my big question is why he didn't give him that crazy northern he had for the previous three seasons. Percy I think could go either way but D10 definitely his original. His new voice just sounds flanderised.

James' final TATMR voice is the only voice in that movie that I genuinely don't like

Spoiled Fire

I can't wait to see it

I’m on board with the Q&A!
