By now, all that's left is The Cluster and the three Homeworld Gems trapped on Earth. No Watermellon Stevens, no Malachite, no Peridot-assisted drill-pod. And without OG!Steven's Super-Empathy powers, I honestly have no idea how this version of the Crystal Gems are going to be able to pull this off. I love it. White Diamond Steven is a masterclass of how to do engaging AUs. I am on this ride for as long as it lasts.

Probably connected with whatever made PinkDiamond!Earth's humans so casual and uncurious about magic. My personal non-serious headcanon has always been that the sorts of humans who'd be all over exploring strange ruins were either killed off during the Crystal Rebellion (since we know they had humans in the army), or got themselves eaten by Gem Monsters well before the Common Era even kicked off. Only the 'Oh, magic, whatever' genes could survive.
