Deleted scene: Earl stabs Rose as soon as she leaves the barn for making the Cinnamon Roll cry.
(JK, Earl is out getting groceries again, which is why she's not in on this conversation.)

Though I wonder if Greg ever knew White Diamond was White Diamond, or if he had an affair with “Wendy”, the human with a rock in her head. It would be so interesting if Greg knew about gems but was keeping it a secret because he knew Rose didn’t want to talk about it

Like you can tell she's nervous as hell and pleading with Steven. Genuine concern for Greg's well being, perhaps? And maybe hope that "White" has somehow changed?
