Hey folks,
One-word state of the Author? Wiped.
Canadian politics have calmed down to being roughly where we started before the election, but with a different Prime Minister and the idiot houseless (which is just too freaking funny to not mention.)
Nothing new launched in April, which means May is launch month. The ARCs for Seekers in the Void went out, so you should grab that if you haven't yet!
I had a lot of fun writing Seekers in the Void and I'm hoping I'll be able to return to the setting. That requires it to sell super-well, so tell all of your friends.
What am I working on?
Right now, I am roughly two-fifths of the way into the fourth House Adamant book, about to cap off the first big battle sequence. The book is going well, though the characters are being a bit stubborn about following the yellow brick road of the plot.
Benjamin, especially, seems to keep coming up with reasons for this to take longer!
I've got a few irons in the fire on other projects and am about to hit the final stages of work on the Void Spheres hardcover for the Kickstarter.
First, I need to finish off a few things for Seekers and a pile of admin, because I can only do so much around my writing time (and for the next week or two, I'm feeding my brother's cats. They're sweethearts, but he lives on the other side of the city!)
I also need to start playing Red Dead Redemption or something similar weird west. The next project after Regent's Mate is the fourth Teer and Kard book (long overdue, but the first three were written back when I would end up with time between projects. That hasn't happened in a while :P)
Happy reading everyone! I hope you are all enjoying Seekers!
