Question - Any interest in a print anthology of novellas and short stories?

Hey readers,

Wondering what your opinions are on a second print anthology. We have Spaceships & Spellcasters (2018) which is a print-only anthology right now. In the few years since, I've released:

A Question of Faith
Excalibur Lost
Balefire
Pulsar Race

None of these have a print version right now, but we could do a print anthology of them. What are your thoughts?

Cheers,

Glynn

Comments

As has been mentioned, Glynn has no plans to write a follow-up to Excalibur Lost! We appreciate the enthusiasm for that novella, but it's not something he's interested in doing. - Robin

do should be don't

Since I'm older (71), it's easier to read on a computer screen as opposed to paperbacks so I don't buy them. OTOH I will still buy a hardcover if it's something I need to read. BTW I've been checking your site and do see anything on tap for the next book after Huntress. Can you tell us what's coming up?

Obviously, we are the most avid fans, but it might still sell as a physical. I'm not sure how to compensate for a sampling bias like this. Obviously you'd only ask if the physical stuff normally sells, but your Patreon folks love ebooks.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that the other day.

If the only way to get a book is paper, I'll get it. (Assuming it is worth getting.). I prefer paper for some things, but mostly I'm Audiobooks, ebooks, then paper is my order of preference. But I'm pretty proud of my physical copies of the Starship's Mage series.

Same here. I have been an ebook-only reader for years. However, having said that I would buy a printed anthology of your works. I can honestly say I only have a few favorite authors and you are definitely at the top.

seems like we're all ebook readers

I prefer the electronic copies rather than print. I am older adaptability of electronic publishing. I would also like a glossary of ship names and people names that are included in the book.

If we can put in suggestions, I'm very much hoping for a continuation of the excalibur lost book. the base story seems very interesting.

David Shmilowitz

I'm about the same. E-books exclusively for years now.

Thomas Bagwell

I'd be interested in an ebook compilation, but I haven't bought a dead paper book in years.

I’m definitely not the right person to ask about this - the only print book I’ve read in the past ~7 years is the Bible… I see the attraction, and I even pick one up every now and then, but the convenience and flexibility of my kindle always wins out.
