Sit Back and Relax. Next Stop, Version V1.0.0.0

We just wanted to share some quick details about what we're currently working on and what everyone will be seeing over the next few weeks.

We're currently wrapping up with the Twitch extension and we're planning a live play session to show it off. We'd love everyone with any interest to come watch once we have it planned. We're currently looking at May 30th as the day we plan to run the game. We'll follow up with more details when we have them finalized. 

As we finish out the Twitch extension, we'll be jumping into our internationalization efforts and adding support for both Spanish and French languages. We're really excited to expand this in a way that helps everyone play in a language most familiar to them! Once we finish Spanish and French, we'll be keeping an eye on our community as to what languages we want to add next. 

We have also taken over the maintenance and feature development for The Genesys Emporium! The Emporium is an amazing tool built by SkyJedi used for creating characters for the Genesys system. We love this tool and are really excited to be spearheading future development of it. We have plans to make some structural updates to the code base and add support for the upcoming Keyforge book in the near future, after which we'll be setting up a roadmap of other features and improvements that will be added over time. This project will remain open source and will not be combined with RPG Sessions and so it's something we are looking forward to getting the community involved with in terms of actually building features! Version 1 final is a huge milestone for us and it's not coming without some major improvements to the site. We have several large changes that have been heavily requested and that we think everyone will be really excited for:

• Full Character Sheet redesigns
• Remove Setback from rolls
• Weapons can modify their base skill
• Weapons/Talents/Armor/Equipment will be able to affect other parts of the character sheet. ex. A talent that adds a rank to a skill, or a cybernetic that increases a characteristic by 1
• Minion/Rival/Adversary sheet configurations!

These changes will be accompanied by several other changes across the site to improve the character sheet integrations!

• The Game Table will have full NPC support for the GM!
• Discord Bot will have full NPC support
• Discord Bot will have a new "Dice Pool" concept that allows players to build pools of dice and include them in their roll by name
• Roll dice from your weapon directly from the Game Table or the Discord Bot
• Manage equipment quantities directly from the Game Table or the Discord bot

Needless to say, this next release is going to be awesome! We also plan to have an initial version of our Discord bot that will support running multiple games per server, though that will likely only be open to Patreon supporters at the time of launch while we continue to work on that feature.

We are really excited for all of these wonderful new features that we are working on and we couldn't have been able to get here without all the support we get! Thank you again for your support and we are looking forward to continuing development and breaking all these great features to life.
