Reminder: New Sketch Slots on the 24th + update

Dear precious patrons,

This is a reminder that I'll be rolling out new prices on the sketch slots this month. They will increase to $50 for single character and $100 for two characters.

I'm doing it on the 24th, so update your calendars!

I'll send a notice to everyone who was in a slot after the change takes affect. The only way for me to do this is to create the subscription tiers over again so everyone who is in a slot now will need to grab it again if they want to keep getting a sketch each month!

I'm sorry to those of you who choose not to continue with the sketch subscription, but after a hard look at what I was charging and how the price was affecting my ability to keep up with bills, I knew it was time for a change.

This money goes to paying bills every month and keeping food in my belly. Making it has been really hard in this economy and I appreciate every one of you for your contributions, even if I struggle to show it. I put the price too low when I started, and I apologize for the mistake. The sketches will stay mostly the same, with the small exception that they will increase in quality every month because you all give me the ability to keep working and keep practicing.

For any new hopefuls wanting a slot, a couple might be open in a few days.

In other news:

I haven't stopped working on the shaded sketches I still owe from earlier this year, don't worry! I have each slot I owe written and filed. Those will continue alongside the new ones and I already have some in the works.

I'm still working on a comic on the side for a private indie publisher and it takes a chunk of my time every month. I wish I could show you all but I'm contractually obligated not to pass the images around v_v

Once some of this weight is lifted from my shoulders I'll be open for general commissions again, but I don't know when that will be.

Next year I'll try to plan some fun patron-only events. Let me know what kind of stuff you would like to see, feedback is important.
