New Project Update #3

okay… last time I mentioned that the release of the first chapter might take a while, and that still holds true. i’ve spent the last three days illustrating the characters, and right now I’m about halfway through finishing their clothing and weapons

The next steps will be, illustrating the backgrounds, doing the final touches, and finally, adding the dialogue

out of all these steps, the part I dread the most is definitely the backgrounds. as you know, when I illustrate, i always try to make sure the characters fit into background. now that I’ve finished drawing the characters, i need to illustrate backgrounds in a style that i've never tried before, which is a big challenge for me, but one I welcome

so yes, backgrounds will take a while
but after that, things should get much easier. once I get used to illustrating in this new style, as I mentioned before, I’ll be able to complete chapters much faster.

that’s it for this update! there’s not much more to add since I’ve just been drawing every day this week.
