ALTER story summary

ALTER is the story of a boy who we know little about from the beginning and unfolds through his time with his alters and story reveals. The point isn't so much his past is the key mystery, but what is revealed about him moment to moment through his alters and mindscapes. His first introduction is waking up at a bus stop in the middle of a rural setting before a train track, the sea before him in the evening light. The boy has woken up as a train is heard approaching and as he waits, a woman he had not noticed with him before tells him they will miss it if they don't hurry and they end up freighthopping.
I am thinking I want it connected to the SCP universe, or what would allow more freedom, something equivalent the The Foundation and anomalies being an aspect of the world. When scenes involving them arise, the story becomes someone evident as to the boy's part in it. The woman that appears to the boy is named Nanashi, which really isn't a name, but what she says to call her. She calls him Jenin and because he is a mute protagonist, it sticks throughout . The story progresses to pivotal points and reveals each of the three alters.
The world changes between two settings and can't say more on that as it would give some things away I'd rather not yet. Its's through these Jenin travels and is hunted down by anomalies or the organization seeking to capture him.
