I stated this before, but it's worth reiterating - 'Dubiously Canon' stories are meant to be a canonically-fitting as possible while still being something you can either remove or include from the canon at your pleasure. This one is no exception. I did my very best to fit it into the existing canon with the upcoming events in Red Lantern in mind, and due to that it ended up like... at least 70% plot and feels. You can probably exclude the saucier bits very easily, if you choose. The rest is essentially just canon.
Luther and Grayson's platonic relationship is one of the strongest in the series, and if you like it just how it is, that's great. But, if you ever wanted them to cross that threshold, this one's for you. Enjoy, and let me know what you thought!

Briiant. Bravo.. This really is too good to remain non-canon. Its obvious that Luther and Grayson care a lot about each other and sex is only an extension of affection.

It gives so much depth and emotion to Luther and Grayson's connection and really fleshes out Grayson as a person who's so much more complex then he let's on to the outside world. I haven't felt this invested in a story for a long time.

This is easily my favorite dubiously cannon story you've done so far. I'm always a fan anytime we get a peak into Grayson's thoughts and inner workings, he's such a deep character; and it was so interesting to read his inner thoughts concerning his love for Luther. Couldn't help but chuckle at the Johannes cameo at the end, that was a perfect addition to round out the story. :p Thank you for writing and sharing this with us!

Even not personally vibing the saucy bits, it's still extraordinary in how it maintains the critical aspects of their relationship without the adult scenes sullying them. In the end, this is another excellent view into a powerful and complex relationship between two best friends. Wonderful work, Rukis; keep it up!

I truly hope that Grayson kidnaps Luther and makes a run for it rather than let Luther surrender himself to the crown. Also excellent solution for Amon too. He will be safe as well as 'dried' out from his addiction. Crafty of Grayson letting Cuthbert know that he 'knows' about Shival - hopefully the wolfhpund will realise ghat Grayson will not use it to his advantage. Great story.. 10/10 Bravo.. (And Grayson is still a virgin.. technically to save cannonality)
