Breaking News in the JonBenét Ramsey Case

Nearly 28 years after the tragic death of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey, significant progress has been reported in the investigation. Recent developments have reignited hope that answers may finally come to light, as advancements in technology and renewed efforts by investigators bring new momentum to this cold case.

Latest Updates:

What Do YOU Think?

‼️ NOTE ‼️:
I do not recommend the Netflix documentary "Cold Case: Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey." While it has brought renewed attention to the case, it leaves out critical details and oversimplifies key aspects of the investigation.

Breaking News in the JonBenét Ramsey Case

I remember this case, I was a kid when it happened. I remember being at my Grandma's for Christmas when the news broke. Boulder never had a crime like this, they were clueless. The crime scene wasn't closed off. Cops, family, and neighbors walking and touching everything in the crime scene. The scene was tainted, evidence ruined when the dad brought her upstairs. I did a huge paper on this case for my Crime Scene Investigation class, and I was blown away by the how it all seemed to point to the mother. The note found was in her handwriting, JonBenét had pineapple in her stomach (a treat her mother gave her), and the fact the police told them not to do interviews and they immediately went on TV. If the mother didn't do it, I strongly feel she knew more than she was willing to tell

This case has always pulled at my heart. So tragic and there are so many odd things that happened here.

Good to know to avoid. I saw that while looking up the "Casting Jon Benet" to add to my queue. So many shows/stories are polarizing and you don't know what's really opinion, fact, or left out.. (I also don't watch the news anymore for those reasons) A few weeks back, Crime Junkie Podcast did what seemed to cover the case thoroughly. They were able to interview the father also. https://youtu.be/rmV6lzvVAug? I listen to their true crime podcast most days driving to work on Spotify.

I had a feeling that Netflix show would be lacking. I avoided it. The Casual Criminalist covered her case, i just haven't watched it yet.
