This look took us an extraordinary amount of time to get right, both in terms of styling and in finding the perfect way to tie it back to the story. When helicopters flew over Jonestown after the tragedy, the bodies were described as looking like plastic bags scattered across the ground. This haunting image is what inspired the plastic dressβit was our way of visually reflecting the eerie aftermath of that day.
The process was challenging, but worth every minute. The cast, from the actors to the extras, were amazing and brought so much energy to the set. Their commitment really helped bring the vision to life. Though it took a lot of work, every detail came together to honor the complexity and darkness of the story.
