Here's a list of some documentaries I watched while researching my video that you might find interesting as well. All of them can be found on YouTube. This is a small number of all the docs on the topic out there, so feel free to recommend any others you enjoyed in the comments.
In Love with Terror (2002) - Documentary about the German Red Army Faction by the BBC. Has a lot of uncensored violent imagery. Decent introduction to the topic with some interviews, though it has some biases and is obviously not sympathetic to the RAF, presents the suicide allegations without any skepticism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnUnR9S4vLo
Children of the Revolution (2010) - Interesting documentary centering around the daughters of two urban guerrillas - the daughter of Ulrike Meinhof (German Red Army Faction) and the half-Japanese half-Palestinian daughter of Fusako Shigenobu (Japanese Red Army), both of whom have become journalists and writers. Talks about both groups and interviews the two daughters. Ulrike Meinhof’s daughter is highly critical of her mother’s activity and (justifiably) felt somewhat abandoned by her, while Shigenobu’s daughter has some appreciation for her mother’s ideals, and is a vocal supporter of the Palestinian cause. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NT_CKWIXfY
The Angry Brigade: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Britain’s First Urban Guerrilla Group (1972) - nice introductory doc. Talks about the Angry Brigade’s links with Spanish anarchism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4KAKcIC7uA
World in Action - Another Angry Brigades doc that talks about some of their actions and interviews 2 former members. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDp_ceJQtP4
ThamesTV has produced some interesting content on the 70s political struggles:
One about the German Red Army Faction, produced after the Stammheim deaths: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRnKfg2Y9nE
On the Italian Red Brigades, produced after the Kidnapping of Aldo Moro but before his death: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBruqMpk5-4
And some other relevant topics from the period, including content about the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, the Northern Irish Troubles, and Basque seperatists.
Symbionese Liberation Army & Patty Hearst: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8h9cmBpw84
Student Rioters: Who Were the Weather Underground? - Mildly sympathetic look that includes several interviews of former WU members: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5_GqyBeAx8
Direct Action - Documentary about Canada’s Squamish Five: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjn1XMvlP7k
Declaration of World War - Probably the most remarkable film on the list, because it is produced by the Japanese Red Army itself in collaboration with the PFLP. Has some absolutely incredible footage, especially a lot of footage of Palestinian guerrillas loading weapons, and appearances of significant figures in Palestinian liberation such as Ghassan Kanafani and Leila Khaled. Includes voice-over presenting some of the Japanese Red Army’s political ideas and analyses, much of which is highly circular, however. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIx81VAPMiY
