Working on the script about left-wing terrorism
Added 2024-03-05 03:41:46 +0000 UTCI'm currently 14 pages into the script for my next video on left-wing terrorism, and I'm making good progress. I'd say I'm at least 3/4 done.
Writing it has been extremely difficult because there is simply so much to cover, and I have delayed finishing the script for such a long time because it has felt so overwhelming. I've never done research for a video before that spans such a wide area.
I am mentioning:
- Early left-wing terrorism
- The development of anti-colonial guerrilla warfare
- The development of urban guerrilla methods
- The radical students' movements of the 60s, its groups, political tendencies and influences
- The influence of Vietnam and violence against the left
- A timeline of significant urban guerrilla actions
- The problems inherent to urban guerrilla organizing
- The historical failure of urban guerrilla groups
and throughout I'm drawing from events in West Germany, the US, Japan, Brazil, Uruguay, and many others
Just wanted to update you guys, and I hope that you're excited by this this vague outline. I've spent tons of time on this topic, so I hope you will find the video interesting and educational!

2024-03-05 22:09:55 +0000 UTCi can’t wait for this video i know it will be great! excited to see Japan made the list. while Red Army were notable to the theme, i do wonder if Japan’s focus draws from beyond the cult of the Red Army, and focuses on the other militant left wing and anarchist struggle that took place through the early/mid 20th century. keep up the good work! thank you for all your contributions.
