On my book
Added 2021-09-15 03:01:49 +0000 UTCMe and the marketing team at Repeater Books are currently considering giving certain Patreon tiers of mine a discount for the book and possibly doing autographed cards. We're also considering giving certain patrons early access to an excerpt of the book.
Because of this, my patrons might want to hold off pre-ordering the book until we find out if Repeater Books will let us do the discount. In any case, here are some links where the book is available for pre-order:

In principle, I don't think it's necessary to completely forego advanced technology. We do need to scale back drastically and be more judicious.

2021-09-15 17:09:31 +0000 UTCRegarding socialism, I don't think you can simply "leave behind it's associations with burocracy and state tyranny". These are and will be the defining factors of communism/socialism for centuries to come. Especially given the fact that they are very much alive in current communist regimes. As for the degradation of the environment and climate change - seems like we could only stop them by going back to the dark ages (without advanced technology) with much less population that we have now. Merely switching the political regime won't do anything.
2021-09-15 05:30:53 +0000 UTCI'll wait for the patreon details, but I'm super excited to give it a read. Ditto on the price already being very reasonable. Will definitely purchase :)
