June Extra Video (oops)

To make up for a missing video last month, here is something that's super duper personal. Years ago, I sat down to write a song. This video shows the process... how I'm finding chords, making up words as I go to find the right vowel sounds and the overall message.

This was the first time I got this on video (it was the fastest way to record the audio at the time since I wasn't at my computer) and then added strings to the clip even though the song wasn't complete yet. I just kept hearing it in my head.

I named the clip "Truth always falls" because that was the line I knew was a keeper. hehe.

Some time later, I collaborated with a friend, Lisa Mazzotte, and together we wrote the rest of the lyrics.

Eventually, the song was renamed and released as "Forget the Lines".
