Updated Tiers/Goals

I've added updated tiers and goals for Patreon, mostly encompassing things that I think I can do without sacrificing story quality or stressing me out too much. The two biggest things are Discord integration (I have a Discord now!) and early access at the $5 tier ... which we'll be trying out tonight, because a chapter will be posted tomorrow night. I mostly don't want anyone who's already pledged that amount to miss out because they haven't updated the reward level (so if you're one of those people, do that).

The Discord is open to the public, so feel free to invite anyone in for discussion of Worth the Candle (or other things I've written) - the only channel that's locked away is the #earlybirds one, in order to keep spoiler stuff separate before the story goes to wide release.

The discord link isn't working for me

It's one of the things I'm concerned about, but I don't have hard metrics, nor any good case studies to look at. Possible failure modes: * Spoilers * Early-access backers dominating the conversation * General decrease in discussion But without hard numbers, it's difficult to say whether conversation is getting warped, or if it is getting warped, how much. (Opening up a Discord will probably also muddy those numbers, since it's an outlet for people who prefer faster, real-time communication, rather than slow, asynchronous communication like Reddit.) I'll be keeping an eye on it, and I'm prepared to call it a failure if there end up being bad results - but I'm not willing to declare failure before actually seeing the impacts. If you have some case studies, especially those with data analysis, I'd love to see them. I plan on doing one for this experiment, mostly by looking at discussion volume, top level comments, and some analysis of the makeup of commentariat, though I expect there to be a lot of noise to cut through (especially since the release schedule is fairly irregular, and there are nature peaks and valleys of discussion that follow the plot). Obviously that has to be combined with a more subjective analysis of the things metrics can't answer, but I'll probably push that off onto someone else.

I am fundamentally opposed to early access as a reward as it stilts online discussion of the chapter when some users get to read chapters before the general community
