Greetings Mythicists! Issue #51 is coming along nicely, I'm having fun making Event Crafter sheets :)

It's nice to finally dig my teeth back into this subject. Event Crafting is an easy way to introduce "expanding events" into an adventure.

It looks like this issue will have three Event Crafter Situations. Each one is about 6 pages long, so three seems like a good number to top out at. I have two done so far. They are:

Evidence Of A Conspiracy: This is a classic conspiracy thriller Situation that will usually directly involve the PC. It starts with strange occurances like being watched and escalates into all kinds of shenanigans, including abductions, discovery of shadowy organizations, and generally what one would expect from conspiracies gone wild.

Creature Feature: This Situation is the classic monster of the week trope. It can encompass monster isolation horror like Alien or The Thing, or more adventuresome fair like Supernatural or X-Files. This Situation also (usually) starts off slow, with evidence of the creature, and builds through greater and greater reveals that ultimately leads to a final showdown or escape attempt.

I don't know what the third one will be yet. I hope to finish Creature Feature today, then I'll determine the third Situation. That leaves something like 27 other Event Crafter ideas I didn't get to! I'll hold onto those, since they are all gold. If you all like Event Crafting, then this concept will reappear as a recurring Content Idea suggestion in the poll. I'll just keep building the pool of potential Situations.
