It's tough being a woman...

UTI = Urinary Tract Infection. A UTI is an infection in the urinary tract that makes you feel like ya need to pee more than you need to breathe, and when you do pee, it's a very unsubstantial amount of pee that feels like the firey pits of hell. Surprisingly, not many people know about this infection despite the fact that almost every single girl, woman, person with a vageegee will have it and probs just eff up their body more with antibiotics due to the lack of awareness and education about it.
I have not had a UTI in 9 months, but for the past two years I had them almost every 2-3 months. I relied on antibiotics every time it happened without realizing how much damage it was doing to my body. To be clear, I do not have endometriosis or any other condition, my UTI's always occurred on a situational basis which was anytime I was doing the dirts or literally actually outside in the dirts.
This is my current routine that has kept them away (I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL):
I take 1 tsp. of D-Mannose Pure Powder 1-2x a day with water to cleanse the urinary tract. D-Mannose is a type of sugar that sticks to your urinary walls and trap ecoli bacteria and flush it out when you pee. If I feel very vulnerable to a potential UTI, I will take it once every 3 hours in a day.
Every time I do the dirts or go on a long sweaty hike, I will take 2 urinary health probiotic capsules (Nature's Way Fortify Dual Action Urinary Health) before or after to ensure I have good gut bacteria doing it's thing to potentially fight any bad bacteria entering my body. I don't do this every single day and only the days I "do stuff," and sometimes the day afterwards to make sure.
In general, I have pretty much committed myself to a long term relationship with eating probiotics (Yogurt, kimchi, kombucha, fermented foods, Kefir etc.) When you take a lot of antibiotics you also kill a lot of the good bacteria in your body. That's what taking antibiotics in the past did to me. Instead of relying on drugs that will kill your good bacteria as well, try to focus more on intaking foods that will restore more good gut bacteria to FIGHT SOME BISHEZ.
If I feel vulnerable to a UTI, I will also drink Vitamin-C or eat a lot of Vitamin C. I've been told that Vitamin C creates an acidic environment in your body that limits the growth of bacteria, but I will only take things like Emergen-C or Orange Juice when I feel like one might come (I don't do this every day).
And of course, drink A LOT OF WATER, pee before and after $3X, wash yoself downstairs after the dirts, wear cotton underwear, and don't forget to freakin have fun when you do the dirts.

That's so scary to get an allergic reaction to antibiotics -- but im glad youre okay! But yeah, same, I had to figure this whole routine out on my own. I hope more awareness about UTIs are spread

2019-08-13 18:52:57 +0000 UTCThanks for sharing this story. My 2nd UTI experience they gave me antibiotics and I had the worst allergic reaction (my ankles we're swollen and I couldn't feel my the side of my left leg for a month 😢) so I had to default to eating more yogurt, hydration and cranberry juice and I've been pretty okay since. I never knew about that powder thing... I hope this reaches a lot of people cause honestly I wish I had been told about the more holistic method before they shoved a generic antibiotic in my face. Have a great week!
