Production Plan
Added 2025-05-01 13:49:05 +0000 UTCI think I'll post a monthly update on the future plans for publishing different works - save answering release-date questions individually. :D
Caveat: All dates are tentative. Lots can happen, some good, some bad. So all dates are subject to change.
To explain more in depth:
Production: Projects I'm actively working on.
Concept: Ideas I'm fleshing out - may go somewhere or not.
Iced: Things I've done work on, sometimes significant amounts, but have mostly shelved due to time constraints. I pull these out and work on them when I need a break from current projects.
Plotting: I'm not really a plotter. For me, this stage is more about refining the idea and research. For instance, my Carew series is typically based on or includes historical events, so I do a lot of research and tweaking of those before I start actively writing the bits that are plot and not character driven.
Editing: My editor (wife) does two full passes -- usually more than that, since I revise things right up until the very end, much to her annoyance.
I typically put a book on preorder once I have it both in Editing and the cover, and I make those long preorders to be able to bring them in closer without risking meeting the date.
Lastly, I'll be putting the full work up on Patreon as soon as the second editing phase is done. That's separate from any preview chapters.
Comments
I didn't realize you were also J.A Sutherland of the Alexis Carew series. I had that on my "To Read" list without even knowing.

2025-05-05 07:50:48 +0000 UTCI re-read Warlock 2 for a bit, and darn the editing has been done well! It's so nice to read well edited fiction. Can't wait for the next Warlock book!
