Some Tier Changes

I'm scrambling a little bit, trying to get some things done before the first of the year. The coming change for next year being fully self-employed comes with a lot more paperwork than I'd expected.

When I set up the Patreon, I wasn't expecting Warlock to be anywhere near as successful as it has been and I created the upper tiers thinking I'd have a lot more time and flexibility than things have wound up at.

The idea of voting on the next coven member was something I thought would be cool, but the success makes a more planned, cohesive plotting of that necessary; and the custom stories/scenes at the smut master level were something I thought might fill some writing downtime that it turns out I'm not going to have. Overall, good, since it means more of the main story quicker, but it makes fulfilling those tiers a problem.

So I'm going to be closing those two tiers until I can come up with something to include that's both doable and of value for the tier. I'll also be refunding the memberships at those tiers for those who haven't received things yet. All the requests for custom scenes that are pending for the smut master tier will go on my list for future bonus content -- maybe we'll have a vote on those to keep the list going.

Sorry to those of you impacted, but I really wasn't expecting this degree of success and need to concentrate on the core series for a while.

Edit to add: I'm not sure what's going to happen when I remove those tiers - it might move you to the next lowest available or it might kick you out. If the latter happens, please come back, I didn't ban you. :D

I was worried this might end up being the case with the Smutmaster Level. I want to say thank you for being cognizant that it wasn't going to work out, honest with us about it, and taking the tier down yourself as opposed to stringing people along with excuses. I really do think highly of you for taking this step yourself and early enough it doesn't seem like it was a problem. At least it didn't to me. If it wants a refund for the last payment go ahead and keep it for a Christmas present/tip for the story you have done already for me. And Thank You for that story if I didn't already tell you.

I think this is a reasonable strategy to get your workload managed. In my opinion, your time is better spent to work on getting your story fine tuned, than pumping out side storys (even if I am also interestend in SOME fanservice ;)). Nothing to kill a perfectly good story but an halfassed second book.

Really hoping you still have time to do a Cassandra POV short of her bonding like you did for Sam.

Happy Holidays! keep any refund for me as a Christmas present as well - I joined to support your work and because I'm an impatient bastard, and wanted to read ahead of publication. I also support several other authors and act as a beta reader for them, so I get to read the ARC's :)

Don't bother with the refund unless Patreon forces it or it's too much of a hassle for you. The tier was more to support your work than anything else.

FPS_Monkey

Keep any refunds as a Christmas present:)

If you are changing things up you should look into publishing the book in web novel format on scribblehub. You have a lot more freedom in your writing if you don't want to force the story into books. A lot of authors publish there and then later edit it into book forms before they go to Amazon and Kindle. I also saw some fantasy books appear on RR after they were published on Amazon.

Hey, congratulations on being *too successful.*

Captain Nuclear

Do what you have to do! We're all just excited to support you as you work on more for us to read!

Michael Henderson

That's fine. This is your boat, captain, I'm just here to enjoy the ride. Thanks for the hard work, btw. Happy New Years!
