Have read a couple of time now, really like the character exchanges. One thing I would have like to see early on was first time Sam and Noah are in class together and how the teacher would react - how would they call on Sam now, can't call her Magellae Prescott, since she's not either anymore, and I think she would object to Prescott. Maybe make a good short?
