Sam continues to prove herself to be best girl. Noah really should let her be in charge of selecting applicants for the coven. Though I’d be sure to tell her to mix it up with the body types. Don’t want all big huge booba ladies. I kinda prefer Sams body type myself. Excellent work. Looking forward to more.

2024-12-12 04:31:39 +0000 UTCIt's true that Felicity can't remember the geas, but she definitely did return to the foster home with Morgan (p. 229 of the preview pdf), and even interacted with Gabriel there (unless there's some unreliable narrator shenanigans going on). As far as I can tell, the geas binding Felicity wasn't discovered when she went back with Morgan, and there's nothing I could find in the text suggesting that the geas is no longer active. But Fíorghráin didn't want Morgan interacting with Noah or Mel either, not just Felicity, once Noah aged out and left his foster home; so we have to assume that Cait is actively taking steps to deal with that now that it's happening. We already know Gabriel is a part of Fíorghráin's scheme (he moved into the foster home on the same day that Noah left, and is obviously there to spy on Morgan), but what else might Cait do to stop Morgan from spending any more time with Noah or Mel...? (Btw, this is definitely a great reason to keep the prologue as the prologue and not put it as an interlude or as the epilogue, because it makes all of these scenes have an underlying tension/sense of dread as to what might happen to Morgan that they otherwise wouldn't have if we knew nothing about Cait.)

Assuming it isn't an error, it could be how the glamour and geas is discovered when Felicity can't return to the foster home.

Though I do have a question re: p. 222 of the preview pdf: how can Felicity go back with Morgan to her foster home, since Noah doesn't live there anymore? For that matter, how can Felicity even make the offer to do so? I'm confused because the geas that Fíorghráin put on Felicity would seem to prevent that (p. 15 of the preview pdf): "You and you alone may see the boy here, no other, until he leaves this place by no action of your own nor your advice—you may lead no being to him, nor speak of him to any while he dwells here, and, once you have him, you shall not return here." What am I missing?
