While Adam has seen the first two episodes, and Bradley has seen the first three, we're excited to finish the first season and start the second with everyone when it premieres on April 13.
"The Last of Us", based on the hit video game with the same title, follows Joel- a hardened survivor- as he's tasked with escorting Ellie, a seemingly immune 14-year-old, through a post-apocalyptic United States ravaged by a fungal pandemic that turns humans into aggressive, zombie-like creatures.

In the game it was a little different it was FEDRA at the State House instead of infected that you had to deal with but I honestly feel like this was a good change. Made Tess' death feel a bit more powerful taking out the infected. One other interesting thing, when Ellie asks Joel if its hard to kill the infected because they used to be people in the game its made clear they still *are* people, especially the first two stages, the Runners and the Stalkers, its less clear about stage 3 and 4, the Clickers or the Bloaters... but there are times when you can see the others doing human things. They will carry things of their former life. There's one horrific moment that if you listen and sneak up on an infected you can hear her crying while eating a person. Theres other moments you will hear other Runners especially crying. Even the Clickers can be seen clawing at the fungus on their face as if they're trying to remove it. I'm not sure if they ever make this totally clear.

So y’all were right, there’s more than one type of Infected and occur in this order of evolution (so how old they are): 1) runner (which is A LOT of the ones we see on this show), 2) stalker (which were not included in season 1), 3) clicker (the ones we see in the museum this episode), they are top tier creepy, it’s the stage of evolution where the cordyceps really take over the brain and covers their face so they use echo-location with the clicks/other sounds to track, 4) bloater (final stage, cordyceps completely covering the previously human body with cordyceps). Also of note, the more they evolve, the harder they are to kill. Cordyceps is MUCH more protective than our own skin.
