April Fools

For April Fools, I set out to write a literary garbage fire of bad writing techniques, typos, cliches, and everything else I find in these types of stories that make me roll my eyes and close the tab.  I hope you enjoyed this abomination.  I had an absolute blast writing it.  Working on real chapters now!  It's good to be back!

OLD TEXT:

So apparently even Patreon has text size limits, XD.  I was hoping to knock your socks off with Chapter 88 (my biggest and maybe best chapter yet) but this presents a problem.  So, just for this one chapter, I'm posting it as a pdf.  Hope you all enjoy!  A lot of time and care went into this one!

P.S.  If you all would like me to make posting chapters as pdfs and/or epubs along with the standard text format the new standard, let me know.

Lol, no my rough drafts look very much like my final ones. With this April Fool's chapter, I went in with the goal of making a literary dumpster fire where I crammed every bad cliche and poor writing technique I could find into one chapter. Also every cat meme I could squeeze in (can you name them all?). I absolutely despise the whole "person speaking" [speaker] format. I don't want to read a screenplay, thank you very much. I hope you bothered to read through the whole thing and get all the jokes ;p

ARGH. Just now looked at posting date... after writing a detailed criticism that I was very apologetic for. Just out of curiosity, though, is this what your chapters looks like while you are in the drafting stage? I'd imagine the info in the brackets would actually be quite useful as a tool for keeping track of things before the polishing/editing stage.

please be mindful of the posting date

I have not finished the chapter yet and have only read a couple of paragraphs but those fourth wall brakes and [me or whatever] just breaks the flow as well as preventing me to be engrossed in the grimdark universe. It's a completely different style and gives the impressikn that it's been written by a completely different person. I don't think I have the enthusiasm to read it for now but I'll try it again in maybe a couple of days.
