Next Chapter Progress Update
Added 2020-01-29 22:32:57 +0000 UTCHeyyo, everybody. I wanted to give you all a quick update on what's up with the next chapter. Back when I started, I was initially hoping to have it out sometime this week. That's not going to happen. Here's why:
1. The chapter keeps growing. I thought at the start that it would top out at 9k words or less. I'm now at 10k and there's probably another 3-5k words left, meaning this will be the second-longest chapter after the last one. Since this chapter is basically the counterpart to the last one, I actually feel this is fitting. It deserves to be as hype as its partner.
2. I'm having issues. There are parts of the chapter that I'm writing out now just to get out and move on. I know that I'm going to need to rewrite whole sections of this chapter because there's problems that I will need to correct but I don't know how yet. DemiImp is in for quite a workout helping me with these.
If I just churn out the rest of the chapter, the first revision should hopefully be ready by the weekend, but the editing process is going to be extra thorough like it was last time so it's going to be slower than usual.
Sorry for the delay, but hopefully this chapter will be just as worth it as the last. Until then...
